Description: When you sit down to sew you want your sewing machine to run flawlessly, right? You can ensure smooth stitching each and every time with just a little regular TLC! This short class will teach you all you need to know to maintain your machine - cleaning, oiling, minor adjustments - so that it lasts longer, sews better, and requires fewer repairs.

Diana Taylor is a life-long crafter who teaches sewing, quilting, and embroidery classes at Fabricate Studios.

Required Supplies:

  • your sewing machine
  • screwdriver and lint brush that came with your machine
  • canned air
  • sewing machine oil (Zoom Spout Sewing Machine Oil recommended)
  • extension cord (optional and only if you have one)
